Sauteed Apples

LeAnn sent me this after I posted German Pancakes:

Hey Corri, try this next time you make them...

Sauteed Apples
1 tsp. butter
6 large apples
3 T. brown sugar
1/4 c. apple juice
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cook apples, sugar, juice and cinnamon in skillet until apples are tender, serve over German pancake. I love this over top my German pancakes!!! You can even substitute the apple with peaches. Yummy!!!!

This is how we got started:

In October 2008 I (Corri) was presenting a Relief Society class on three-month supply and menu-planning. Everybody in attendance expressed interest in the program, but when it came down to actually putting recipes on paper nobody wanted to use their "same old recipes". Somebody said "Let's start a recipe swap once a month", somebody else said "We could feature a recipe in the Relief Society bulletin every week", then finally brilliant and logical LeAnn said "Corri, we could do a recipe blog". Of course, a blog! What better way to get our favorite recipes to everyone? It really was brilliant, and that very night I went home and set up the North Park Ward recipe blog. Since then, we have been merged into the Brigham City Ward and the Sunset Ward. Because of this, there are many more Sisters to be included and many more recipes to be enjoyed.
